A cyclist on a mountain road, a black Liquid Ice wristband on his wrist

FOR RUNNING, CYCLING AND TENNIS IN THE HEAT · THE ORIGINAL SINCE 1998

Put the cold on your jersey.

Spray Liquid Ice on your jersey, shirt or wristband before you start, and again whenever you want more. It cools as it evaporates, while you move.

How it works

  1. Spray it on

    Spray it on

Spray it generously onto a tight-fitting shirt, jersey or wristband. The fabric holds the liquid.

  2. Keep moving

    Keep moving

Train, ride, work. The liquid sits in the fabric, right against your skin.

  3. Evaporation does the rest

    Evaporation does the rest

As it evaporates, it draws heat from your skin. It cools as long as the fabric stays damp. Warm again? Spray again.

Used by teams in the heat.

  • Ice hockey

    Team physiotherapist, letter to us

At the World Championship, Austria’s men’s national ice hockey team used Liquid Ice before, during and after their games.

  • Tour de France

Leopard-Trek raced the Tour de France, the Tour de Suisse and the Vuelta with it.

  • Beijing

The Swiss team’s staff poured it onto the base layer under the time-trial suits in Beijing.

Two questions for anything in the team bag.

For the team: Active Ice Bandage or ask for team supply
Is it practical?
Nothing to mix, no freezer, no power. The Active Ice pouch rides in the medical bag: open it, wring it out over the pouch (moist, not dripping wet), wrap it tightly, tuck the end in firmly at the top. The can stays in the team kit, on the road and at the tournament.
Does it work?
Measured on the soaked bandage: 5.8 °C cooler skin. Two hours later, in all 20 people the skin under it was still cooler than at the start.
On the team bench: the Self Cooling Bandage on a player’s shin, the can of Liquid Ice beside it

Does it make my shirt wet?

Damp, yes. That’s how it works: it cools while the fabric stays damp.

When do I spray?

Before you start, and again whenever you want more. On a long session, keep the bottle in your bag.

How long does it cool on a jersey?

As long as the fabric stays damp. Heat, wind and effort decide how fast it dries; spray again when it feels warm.

Does it go on my skin?

It’s made for fabric. A tight shirt, jersey or wristband holds the liquid against your skin, so it cools longer. Don’t spray large areas of bare skin and keep it away from your eyes.

Where do you ship, and how fast?

To Austria, Germany and the rest of the EU. It arrives in 2–4 working days in Austria and Germany, 2–7 elsewhere in the EU. Free shipping from €80 (AT), €99.90 (DE), €79 (EU).
